About Us

The business started when we had macarons from Chelles Macarons catered for our wedding. I stayed in touch with the owner, Jonathan, and helped him do some wholesale. The wholesale business went from selling macarons to selling macaron ice cream sandwiches. Eventually, we needed to learn how to make ice cream, so we rented a ghost kitchen a few days a week to get started. We got enough traction where we decided to get our own brick and mortar and open Churn and Bake.

We specialize in Asian inspired flavors. From our coffee and tea flavors that we brew for over 24 hours to innovative flavors such as black sesame, ube, pandan, and durian we strive to bring high quality flavors that you cannot find anywhere else in DFW.

Charlie Lin

Founder and CEO

Charlie is super passionate about ice cream. From developing all of the recipes from scratch to making sure that each batch is churned correctly, Charlie oversees all of the day-to-day operations of C&B.

Stella Sheng

Founder and CFO

Stella is the bake side of C&B. She developed all of the cheesecake, waffle cone, bubble waffle recipes from scratch. Her chemistry and statistics background make her extremely precise in creating the perfect product for our guests. She is also in charge of all of the finances.
